When you arrange to have a website built, there are a couple of other requirements you will need in order to get your website online; a Domain Name and Website Hosting.
A Domain Name is your unique web address; it is the term that begins with www. e.g. www.yourbusinessname.com. A Domain Name can cost anything from £nil to £10 a year. The cost of purchasing a Domain Name is not included in my services and are bought through third party companies - I will be able to suggest to you a few places you can go to to get your Domain Name to enable you to make an informed purchasing decision.
Website Hosting is your parking space on the internet for your website. Website Hosting can cost from £5 a month to £40 a month and is provided by third party companies - Again, I will be able to suggest to you a few places you can go to to get your Website Hosting to enable you to make an informed purchasing decision.
I usually recommend 1&1 for Domain Names and Website Hosting.
Even if I am not building your website, I can assist you in setting up your Domain Name and Website Hosting with a third party for a reasonable administraton fee.
